The multi function LCD displays illuminates via a backlit blue screen displaying both speed and RPMs in digital format. It has the ability to store a trip odometer as well as a total odometer. It's 100% waterproof, shock resistant up to 8G's of shock (perfect for these old bikes) and even has a clock! It even has support for factory indicators like blinkers, oil, neutral, etc. Need we say more!

It's ok. Mine doesn't have a blue backlight. It's more white to grey. Nothing resembling blue. You have to look at it at just the right angle to read the screen. If you have polarized lenses, very tough to read.
Lots and lots of functions. More so than I need. Easy to follow wiring. Paired up with the mechanical to digital cable makes it simple, but then the way you figure speed will be different than the direction state. Seems to be well built. So far I'm satisfied. I would not say it's any better or any worse than a koso or Dayton unit.

So it's nice and small. Solid. Lots of functions, and most aren't needed. It's difficulty I read during the day time. Especially if you wear polarized shades. My back light isn't blue. It's just a grey/white. My emails or phone calls haven't been returned with questions I have.
It is a good product and the directions are decent. Lots of options for setting up your tach and you can dial in the speedo very precisely. Definitely get the mechanical to digital. Makes it simple, but then throw the directions out the window. 19" front wheel you'll probably be between 715mm and 720mm depending on tire profile. Overall it's a good speedo/tach for an ok price.
I have just installed it on my monolever bmw airhead. Everything works fine, as expected.
By the way, to set the speedo, just measure the perimeter of your wheel. You can make a mark on the floor and the wheel, and move the bike until the wheel has turned 1 time, then measure the distance it has travelled from the first mark on the floor, and there you have the weel perimeter, or the distance travelled for one wheel spin
Love the look of the gauge on my CB750. Just drilled one new hole in the old gauge mounting plate and it is perfect!
Great lil cafe gauge ! Or gauge in general !!
Purchased in march 2013 with the digital speedo cable. its fairly easy install the tricky part is figuring out the speed setting . The instructions are way off ! They recommend somewhere between 1500&1600 . That might b the case with out the cable but after a little trial and error I was able to dial it in at 0720 (1976 cb750k with 19" stock front rim 100-90 tires) very happy with it and makes the gauge cluster area very clean looking!
Herm answered all my emaisl super fast! Great stuff and fantastic follow up service too!!!! They don't disappoint !
Nice and clean
This gauge really cleaned up the looks of my bike, it works great and looks better. Easy to install and plenty of functions for the price. A very nice addition to my kz project
Great little gauge
All these great functions in a compact little unit. Easy to wire & set up, and the available speedo cable fit into my stock speedo drive. My biggest gripe is the back light, if you don't look at this thing perfectly perpendicular to the gauge face at night you can't read the gauge. So you need to be cautious how it's mounted. Otherwise I like the gauge.
