Pangea Speed

Pangaea, Pangæa, or Pangea (, , from Ancient Greek πᾶν pan "entire", and Γαῖα Gaia "Earth", Latinized as Gæa) was the supercontinent that existed during the Paleozoic and Mesozoic eras about 200 million years ago, before the component continents were separated into their current configuration.
A true appreciator of vintage motorcycle aesthetic and fine-art, Andy Carter, the artisan behind Pangea Speed, is on to something. Focusing on age-old methods of crafting products by hand- be they cut and drawn from raw steel or sand cast molds they all share one common thread. Creation via methods and talents lost in the hubris sea of homogeny our current society revels in.
Born of the skateboard and punk rock generation, Andy finds solace in thinking "outside the box" and it shows in his work and lifestyle. Having been customizing motorcycles and long low speed sleds intended to raise hell on the streets since youth, he under stands the mechanics of beauty and translates this into every piece offered under the Pangea marquee.
Be it a cast coped riser bushing for a custom seat or oil tank mount, an art deco inspired license plate holder or set of tapered handle bar bosses demonstrating perfect flow and balance his designs hone in on and exemplify the critical element missing in most products being produced today.
"The pursuit of harmony through pure, unadulterated creation."
Unlike the world we live in today which is far away from it's core values and realities, Pangea Speed places emphasis on the way things were and where they came from. The way the world once was and the way things should always be according to Andy Carter.
