CB400 Hawk, CX500 & CB650

The not so common models in the Honda line-up that are often forgotten are now being revived and turned into canyon carving Cafe Racers. What are these three models you ask?

The CB400 Hawk is first in this tri-fecta, boasting a 360 degree crank layout, a traditional diamond style frame configuration and sturdy parallel twin the CB400 went on for many years as a reliable machine in Honda's line-up. It's lightweight platform is perfect for a 100MPH commuter of Cafe flavor.

The CX500, a little more odd with it's Moto Guzzi style engine configuration, shaft drive and liquid cooled engine affords the rider a smooth and reliable ride that can be "Cafe'd" with ease.

And last, but certainly no least, the CB650. The successor to the CB550, the CB650 kicked out 63HP and sported the standard Honda style frame perfect for cutting up into a Cafe Racer and creating a modern-ish and reliable machine.

All three of these models are pavement pounding proof that even the nicest of diamonds can be found in the rough.
