Most of these Monday pics don’t have any story behind them, the imagery speaks for itself. In this case though, we felt a need to share a little.
Any of you who’ve been to DCC know that it sits on a set of used rail-road tracks and on both sides there are large ditches. The road the shop is on used to go all the way through, but has since been blocked up with concrete borders by the city to stop through traffic. Jason hits the tracks daily on a Scrambled 450 and even that requires a bit of negotionation to get through and out properly. Even he’s dumped it in the past.
And every once and a while we’ll end up with some poor soul walking up to DCC asking us to help them pull their Jeep or Pickup truck out, but never before a motorcycle… Well, this fine fellow, thought his Honda Shadow could brave the trenches. Maybe he recently watch “The Long Way Around” or perhaps he was just feeling “Lucky.” No matter the cause, he was plain stuck and Scotty and Jason has the pleasure of helping him get un-stuck. What a sight…
We imagine had he some friends around this little endeavor would have started with a classic “Hey ya’ll, watch this!”
