You've had about all you can take and you're about to crack. If one more person complains about their coffee being too hot, there not being enough TPS reports on their desk or you being 5 minutes late because you had to jump your girl-friends car you're gonna lose it.
Relax, take a breath. They don't get and it's not their fault.
It's 5:20PM and you're fighting for a decent spot in the endless irony called "traffic" amongst a sea of tourista's who haven't the slightest on how to navigate the open expansiveness of our American highways. Somehow, they still find a way to slow things up even with a speed limit of 70 and four lanes to choose from... Someone cuts you off and you spill your coffee in your lap.
Slow down, it's not worth the frustration. You're almost there and again, they don't get it. It doesn't matter anyways it's only a little coffee.
Finally, you arrive, late, but in an instant everything is alright again as the smiles of your brothers waiting patiently are found adjusting throttle cables, checking tire pressure and laughing up the latest goofy thing the joker in your group just did last week.
You park your cage on the street and with a flick of relief your garage door opens and she comes into view, your custom speed machine.
Toss the cage keys on the bench, check.
Ditch the button-down for your favorite tee, check.
Vintage helmet, jacket and boots, check.
With a resounding sigh of relief you push her out of the garage to join the other machines; a vintage Honda, a Thruxton, a 750 Custom and a BMW. The whap of throttles and harmony of exhaust creates a symphony even the most elite of conductors would appreciate.
And in an instant it seems, the garage door is closing, she rumbles beneath you and you take off as the head of the pack. You head down your favorite side streets and make your way to the open roads filled with long sweeping turns, gorgeous straights and no one else...
Life's too short to get frustrated when moving amongst the Lemmings who make up the norm of society. It's not their fault either, so don't take it out on 'em. Instead, grab the new Dime City "Ride Fast. Live Well." tee and recant that mantra with hopes that the positive Karma might bring some of them over to our side.
The right side. The side that knows that a well lived life is one that's ridden fast.
DCC Original apparel, digg it.
