Think about it this way, you're gonna spend at least 2-3 minutes cleaning up and polishing the old hardware. Figure there's an average 100 pieces to refurbish, that's about five hours worth of time and not to mention, permanent eye shadow from the buffing wheel! And in the end, they're still not going to be as nice as the rest of the work you've done.
Why not just grab this high quality stainless steel kit from DCC, remove the old ones and install these in 30 mins and spend the remaining four and a half hours at the pub or on the road crackin' the TON?
Yeah, we thought so..
Dime City Cycles, giving you back time when others can't.
I bought these bolts for my 75 xs 650. I tried another company, pro bolt, and all they did was dump them in a bag. The sizes were off also. Even though they "state" they measure, they said it would only be close, in and e-mail.
The Dime city packs were well marked, and separated into sections. I even think I have extras for those subtle changes over the years. But even the extras were separated out from the others. The breather cover had short and long bolts in its pack.
Great job, haven't used them yet. The one thing is, the instructions seemed to contradict themselves when referring to the use of loctite.
