That said, take a look at these "close to OEM" black rubber gaiters and don't think twice! We've found them to be the perfect fit for the entire CB/CL line-up along with most other vintage bikes.
They're similar to our other gaiters only these have a sharper edge on the coils which is closer to that of the OE equipment installed on most metric bikes. They also have a long "bottom" section which makes for a more OEM look at the top of the lower fork.
Both work great, just as well. Different strokes for different folks and DCC is all about options.
Haven't had the bike out yet but the feel of the gaiter is very good. It does have the rubber feel. They are installed on an "86 BMW K100 RT. The look is good and they are apparently very good at protecting your fork seals. The fit is snug on my bike. Installation was aided by some silicone spray. I recommend them for sure.
Love these gaiters
Replaced the gaiters and fork gaskets on my KZ550. They look great. Quality is excellent. Added some good looks to my bike. The DCC guys were great to deal with. LH
These fit my honda rebel 2002 perfectly.
Heavy duty and great fit
Good heavy duty rubber and fit my 1975 CB570F perfectly.
Fit perfectly on my 75 XS650.
Rebuilt the forks on my 1978 Suzuki GS400, snagged these based on the price and the other reviews....they're perfect! They fit great and the rubber is really high quality....absolutely worth the money!
I was concerned about the quality and thickness of the rubber, when they arrived I was happy to see that these suckers are tough! Perfect fit and look great!
I was a little nervous ordering these, I was afraid they would be kinda cheesy and plastic like some I have seen in the past. But no, they are good old school rubber gaiter goodness! I give them mad props!
Love My Gaiters
These were a very good fit for my '83 Honda Shadow vt500c. Look bitchen.
I have bought gaiters in the past that feel more like plastic than rubber. But this set is a pliable rubber which I was very pleased with. I installed these on my 1975 Kawasaki S3 and I like them more than the gaiters I put on my XS and Bonneville and spent a chunk of change more on.
