Description

Time to step it up to the big leagues! One of the most prominent parts on any custom motorcycle is the headlight. There's just something about that big, fat, juicy bucket staring you down. Ahh it's a thing of beauty!

Check out these fantastic gloss black buckets we've found for ya. They're exactly what Triumph has been putting on the modern Bonnie's and Thruxton's and fit all the wiring and connections just fine. The bottom of housing has a nice wire hole and they even come complete with a bulb. Who wants one?

Great light, a little tough to take it apart. Worth it.

I installed this light on my 2006 Triumph Scrambler replacing the puny 5.5" light. It looks great and fit perfectly between the ears. The only issue is it it very hard to get the light out of the bucket. To do it, remove the screw that keeps it all together, and pull it apart where the screw goes in. It won't come apart if you pull from anywhere else. Pull, wiggle, be patient and pull some more and you will get it apart. It's worth the effort. I love it.

Very good

The light is awesome! And its 100% times better than my stock light (which is kind of like holding a candle in the wind). Be warned though, I needed to make some modifications to my 73' CL350 K5. Becuase of how deep this light is, it pushes against the speedo and tacho cables coming from the stock gauges and points too high. In the end I had the headlight ears cut off and aftermarket ones welded on. The after market ones were actually designed to be clamped, but they look better welded. Be careful when handling the light as the paint is not great quality and during the fitting process I scratched in and ended up getting it powder coated (much better now). Installation was a bit of guessing game, but thats becuase im only new to this. Makes the bike look much more modern.

Looks great, lightweight, works well, OK quality

Installed on my latest creation.. I don't know what you would call it.. a lightweight naked 92 GSXR 1200 with dirty bars. . Was immediately disappointed by the light output. The bulb burned out after a few wheelies. It turns out the little wire clip that holds the bulb in had snapped. I made my own from a piece of coat hanger and installed a high quality bulb. It works great now and really ties the whole bike together. The paint is a little on the thin side and easily chipped. Probably going to buy another for an 88 GSXR750 cafe racer project i'm working on.. Hope the clip fares better.

OK for T100

It's 1 inch smaller than stock where it bolts on. Had to flip my lsl bracket for it to work. Description says it's what triumph uses and that isn't stictly true in my application. That said, I'm satisfied given the price.

Fantastic

Put this on my '81 GSx400 project ... I have it low because I didn't move my ignition but it looks great. Fit on standard ears, throws a lot of light ... happy as always with the service and product!

Looks Great

Nice big round headlight with a deep bucket behind it to bury the factory wiring in. Replaced the square factory light on my FT500 and this looks so much better. The lens is plastic so not a good choice for any gravel road riders.

Sexy Light

This big juicy bucket is all looks! Women will have trouble resisting it, and you. However, it is not a great light source, but then again they all look the same with the lights off. Seriously though, good light for Cafés that don't get much night use. Not very good illumination on the road. Bulb died within 3 days but the DCC crew refunded me for the cost of new bulb, and it has been good since. Class Act over there at DCC. Thanks guys!

Damn.

This thing was SO much easier to install than I gave it credit for. Just put it on my VT500 and it looks great. Draws attention away from the bulbous instrument panel and makes it look ten times better. Just remember: check out the entire product before cutting wires! It'll save you two to three hours and half a pack of smokes trying to figure out why there isn't a fifth wire.

Love this headlght

Modern looks and throws a lot of light. I put it on my '03 Bandit 600 that I'm transforming into more of a retro/cafe style bike. Installation was easy. I get lots of compliments! As always, thanks for the fast service Dime City!

Good quality metal light

I put this on my kz400 the previous owner had a plastic light that cracked first time I tried working on it. This light is nice and bright and looks killer. I painted it but the black it came in was ok. plenty of room in side to hide some of the old factory wires.

Badass

like stated before the headlight is pretty big. that said, it looks amazing with the, satin finish aswell. Have a Honda sabre that had a rectangle headlight and this light made the bike look 200% better. its pretty damn bright too. If i had to buy another headlight I'd buy this all day. install was easy too

Great light.

I purchased this for my Triumph Scrambler so I could ride more confident at night. This light from Dime City is a dramatic improvement over the stock Scrambler 5 1/2 lens and fit the standard headlight ears with no modification. The satin black metal looks much better than the stock plastic. The hole on the bottom of the bucket is smaller than the triumph, but will fit all the wiring with some planning and effort. Suggest disconnecting all the connectors before stuffing.

great

My awesome wife purchased this light for my CB350 with a CB750 front end. This light is HUGE, but looks great mounted. I think it would be too big for a 350 front end, as the forks would be too close together for the light. The only thing I would change would be the lamp. I wish DCC would allow for choices in the wattage of the lamps when purchased, the 60/55w it too large for the charging system on this bike. I also did not hook up the daytime light (yet) so I don't know how well it will work.

Thank you DCC and my beautiful wife for the great headlight.
