D33 Racing

Although a fixture of the cafe racer scene, it wasn't until now that they decided to build a real deal, class division racer. With the reputation and pedigree DCC has become known for, this build dubbed the D33 racer, delivers a serious dose of performance while executing a level of aesthetic and attention to detail rarely seen in the paddock. Dime City Cycles already sponsors a winning race team headed up by AHRMA champion Scott Turner. When asked why he decided to go racing, DCC's fearless leader Herm Narciso simply says "Why wouldn't we? It's a natural evolution, you have to live who you are". It may also have something to do with Turner, a long time friend, egging Herm on and bragging about the spoils of the sport. Herm, not one to shy away from a challenge, decided it was time to go racing Dime City style.

This past weekend October 5th-7th, the 2018 AHRMA race season ended with a bang at the 14th Annual Barber Vintage Festival. Located in the scenic southern heartland of Birmingham Alabama, this sprawling venue was bursting at the seams with spectators, vendors, and over 700 AHRMA race entries.

AHRMA at Talledega Gran Prix Raceway September 8-10, 2018

Heading to the next AHRMA road racing event at Talladega Gran Prix Raceway in Munford Alabama, the mood was solemn. The announcement on September 4th that AHRMA’s Membership and National Road Race Director, Cindy Cowell passed away unexpectedly certainly beckoned for a somber weekend. However, the AHRMA family pulled together like real families do in times of grief to deal with this difficult situation. Cindy had so admirably laid the foundation for many seasons of incredible racing and memories. Her family; extended blended colorful and caring honored this amazing woman with a weekend of racing she would have been proud to direct. Her absence is a great loss and she is certainly missed.

AHRMA at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit

Hallett Motor Racing Circuit is just west of Tulsa Oklahoma, tucked away in the small town of Jennings. It’s a 1.8 mile, 10 turn track with a few blind turns and some tight downhill corners. What I mean to say, is this track is loads of fun! Hallett is a venue AHRMA hasn’t visited in 12 years and the return this year for Rounds 5 & 6 was not a warm welcome.
