Nova Scotia’s riding season might be short but that didn’t deter 49-year-old Bob Wilson from searching for, buying and rebuilding a custom motorcycle. Even though he has a background in mechanical engineering and design, and previously owned trail bikes as a young man, this was his first attempt at rebuilding a street bike. Mats Palsson is a four-time Swedish motocross champion who finally found his way back to motorcycles. Now 56, Palsson said he was a “madman” in his youth, riding Kawasaki triples before he took up motocross seriously. “They were mad motorcycles but fun for a madman that I was at the time,” he said.
