Billet Aluminum Triple Tree
I was a little discouraged when I opened the package an saw CB550 engraved on top. I called and the DCC folks said they would exchange it. I decided NO, I would leave to mess with the guy I left behind on a canyon ride, My 750/823 is quick. There were also milling marks, that I thought looked cool. Anyway using a Dremel tool and a pattern I made, CB 550, now says BIG BOOBS a reference to the pinup girl on the tail I polished the puppy up, since I've polished all the alloy parts. I fabbed some brackets for Gauges and idiot lights and the choke. If you saw my bike on DC Facebook you've the dash I wanted to retain.
This part is awesome, When I think about all the time I spent stripping the powder coat and polishing the stock triple tree. I wish this part was available at the time. And the price was so affordable. Perfect fit easy install, I thought about retaining my clubman bars , but bought the Tarozzi clip on bars.
My bike will always be a work in progress, Thanks Guys for providing me the parts that inspire me.
