Idle Discharge Port Jet - GL1000 - Pkg 4

GL1000 Idle Discharge Port Jets. Sold as a set of four (4). Accurate reproductions of the previously unavailable Honda GL1000 idle discharge port jets.

Critical: Make sure that the slots align with the channel groove in the carb body and that the discharge orifice is aimed outward toward the intact runner. Missing these details will kill the idle on that cylinder!

In the GL1000 Carb Rebuilding video we caution against removing these jets and recommend checking and cleaning them in place. That's because when the video was produced there were no suitable replacements available and they are easily damaged. Now we've sourced these excellent replacements.

Remove these (carefully) using a 3/4 inch wooden dowel in the main bore - using the dowel as an anchor to carefully pry them out with a narrow brake spoon tool or flat-bladed screwdriver. Pre-soaking with penetrating oil facilitates removal.

When installing these, push them gently into position with a small wooden dowel.
