Don't get us wrong, we build plenty of bikes with them and they get the job done, but if you after twist rip riot performance and simplicity theres simply no other solution for carburetion on these old bikes.

The Mikuni Flat Slide series of carburetors have some major design advancements over the older round slide style carbs out there. Air flows faster and smoother through the TM series venture due to the flat slide design and the jet blocks which help create a smooth bore effect. Something we're pretty sure you need help with... The high velocity of air flow means a stronger vacuum at the needle jet providing more precise metering and better throttle response. Digg it.

These advantages are pretty basic, but they make a huge difference when getting that pavement pounder tweaked and geaked for Friday night streel brawls. Just don't forget the cables, you'll need to either measure exactly and order a new set, pick up some of our cable ends and cut your existing cables to the proper length or purchase the Mikuni cable kit we have available.
